Nellianne is a writer and artist in New York. She’s still figuring out how to categorize what she writes about and why she writes, but she finds herself these days writing a lot about feminism and erotic justice in ways heavily inspired by the tradition of magical realism. Her reason for writing might have something to do with the feeling the theologian Martin Luther had when he said, “Here I stand, I can do no other” — a phrase her grandmother often quoted to her. You can find her work in Polyester, The New Historia, and on her Substack, Nellytown.
